Dr. Megan Burgmuller grew up in Western Montana and decided she wanted to be a veterinarian in 3rd grade. With a love for animals and passion for science and medicine, she can't imagine doing anything else! She first fell in love with the Pacific Northwest when she attended the University of Puget Sound, in Tacoma WA. At UPS, she received a degree in Biology and participated on the varsity women's rowing team. During the summers, she returned to Montana to work as a whitewater river guide and volunteer at veterinary clinics. Dr. Burgmuller attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. Her interests include preventive medicine and soft tissue surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Burgmuller enjoys traveling, kayaking, snowboarding, and hiking with her big white dog, Henry! Dr. Burgmuller is extremely excited to call beautiful Bellingham home and looks forward to meeting all the pets and pet parents in the community. Dr. Burgmuller can be contacted at [email protected]
